Nautique announces the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships to be held at Toronto Canada’s CNE Waterfront on August 25-28 during the Canadian National Exhibition.

The Canadian National Exhibition is held annually at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada over eighteen days concluding on Canadian Labor Day. The 2016 CNE will take place on August 21st – September 7th and is the largest annual fair in Canada, standing as the fifth largest in North America. Approximately 1.5 million visitors attend each year to enjoy shows and attractions promoting and celebrating Canada’s growth as a nation.

“We are thrilled to hosting the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships at the CNE this August. This is an exhilarating and exciting new addition to our entertainment offering, which also enables us to re-ignite the CNE’s long standing tradition of presenting events on Toronto’s western waterfront,” Virginia Ludy, General Manager of the Canadian National Exhibition stated.

This year, the Nautique Wake Series will bring the 2016 season’s crowning event to CNE’s waterfront venue with the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships. Top wakeboarders and wakeskaters from around the globe in every division will compete to become the 2016 World Champion and Nautique Wake Series Overall Champion behind the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23.

“Nautique is excited to bring the highest level of wakeboarding competition to downtown Toronto during the 2016 CNE,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “This world class venue provides the perfect setting for our Nautique WWA World Championships and spectators will have the opportunity to experience Wakeboarding at it’s best!”
