Elan's award winners at Sydney Boat Show

The company is also excited to be able to bring to interested parties, details on the first of Elan’s new cruising Line, the Impression 434, an absolutely stunning bluewater cruiser recently launched.

Already Elan has clocked up some pretty impressive racing results on the European race circuit. ‘They certainly perform exceptionally well under the IRC rule - as do most Rob Humphreys designs,’ reported a member of the successfully campaigned Elan 40, Flair IV, out of Poole, England.

Only recently, two Elan 37’s were selected to represent Britain in the prestigious Commodores’ Cup, which starts on Sunday July 25. The first of this model to arrive in Australia, though, will appear at Royal Brighton Yacht Club in Victoria towards the end of this year.

These attractive Elan designs are successful in both the cruising and racing worlds to the extent they are moving more and more onto the international scene.

A perfectly balanced, design and built to perform as a cruiser or cruiser racer, with significantly high Stability Ratings and also carrying individual Germanischer Lloyd Certification, which provides the essential safety reassurance for any cruising or competitive sailor.
