Herreshoff Marine Museum to host lecture on first women in sailing

First Women in Sailing The Mariners' Museum, Newport News, Virginia
On Thursday, January 21st, Herreshoff Marine Museum will be hosting the first lecture of 2016 on the first women in sailboat racing. Presented by faculty and students from Roger Williams University, this talk will focus on four cases studies: Hope Goddard Iselin, Gertrude Vanderbilt, Phyllis Sopwith, and Susan Henn.
