2015-2016 Old Mutual Top Dog Trophy Series RHKYC / Xaume Olleros
Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club has announced Ralph Lauren as the Official Apparel Partner for the 2015-2016 Old Mutual Top Dog Trophy Series. This race series continues on Saturday 21 November with the second of four events – the Lipton Trophy presented by Old Mutual - with the cumulative results of all four races used to determine the top skipper in Hong Kong.

The other three events that make up the series are this past weekend’s Marriott Rewards Around the Island Race and next year’s Tomes Cup on 30 January and the HKRNVR Memorial Vase on 30 April.

International investment, savings, insurance and banking group, Old Mutual has returned as title sponsor, in addition to its continued contribution to adult and youth sail training at the Club.

The addition of Ralph Lauren is a reflection of the growth and popularity of these historical events.

In addition to apparel prizes awarded to the winners at each individual event, Ralph Lauren will also present a jacket to the overall winner following the HKRNVR Memorial Vase on 30 April.

All of the races are of the pursuit variety meaning each boat or class of boats is given staggered start times based on its assigned handicap rating (RHKATI number) which, in a perfect race, should result in all boats finishing at around the same time.
