by Phuket Race Week on 8 Nov 2015
2015 Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek Phuket raceweek
The official video of the 2015 Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek is now live. Four days of tough conditions made for a challenging series but it was smiles all round at the end with lots of great onshore socialising to boot. If you didn't make it this year, check out what you missed and get a flavour of what you can expect in 2016. We hope you enjoy the video.

Book your accommodation early

Participants are getting in touch with us earlier each year to book their accommodation. It may only be November, but we've already booked many rooms for sailors at both Cape Panwa Hotel and Kantary Bay Phuket – the host venues for the regatta. This is great news for us in terms of planning and knowing what boats will be on the startline, but it's also great for you as it means you get the best prices that we have negotiated with the hotels on your behalf. And with only a fixed number of rooms available at these special prices, it means you get to lock in your accommodation early.

Don't be disappointed, book early – click here.

Tell us what you think

A big thank you everyone who has completed our online survey. We really appreciate the feedback, which so far has been very encouraging. There has been lots of positive comments and we thank you for that.

For those who have not completed the survey, we'd really appreciate you taking five mins to fill it in. The more we hear back from you direct, the more information we have (good and bad) to help guide us in making the Phuket Raceweek experience even better for next year.

The 2015 Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek kicked off the 2015/16 Asian Yachting Grand Prix and now after three events, the top three yachts in the standings are Black Baza (28pts), Freefire (18pts) and EFG Mandrake (17pts), while the top three Skippers are Steve Manning/ Anthony Root (28pts), Sam Chan (18pts) and Nick Burns/ Fred Kinmonth (17pts). It's still early days and next up on the circuit is the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta (20 to 28 November). We wish everyone the best of luck and look forward to seeing many of you in Phuket at the Phuket King's Cup Regatta in December.
