Boaters are reminded to keep clear of a section of Tuggerah Lake at The Entrance on Saturday seventh November for the safe staging of a fireworks display.
Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence to host the event on the river between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, weather permitting.
An event area will be established from The Entrance Bridge south east to The Entrance coastal bar.
The event area will be monitored by control vessels.
Vessels not involved in the event should not enter the special event area unless authorised by a boating safety officer or a police officer.
Roads and Maritime reminds people to wear a lifejacket when boating, especially in vessels smaller than 4.8 metres when alone, at night or offshore.
