Extreme Sailing Series – Team GAC Pindar dominates on day 2

Team GAC Pindar sail through Day 2 at the Extreme Sailing Series in Istanbul, Turkey with two race wins propelling them up the leaderboard.
Racing in wind speeds of 20 knots, Team GAC Pindar secured five podium finishes throughout the day, including two wins, one second and two third place finishes. The combined score reflects one of the best team performances of the week so far.
Chris Draper, GAC Pindar’s skipper said: “We had a much better day sailing and if certain things went our way it could have been even more glorious. Overall the day has been positive with some good results which we are really happy with.”
GAC Pindar Team Principal, Andrew Pindar added “This positive shift in results is reflective of quality leadership by Chris Draper. It takes a world class leader to turn things around at this level and today is further evidence he can do it. We’re looking forward to seeing Chris and the team now taking this momentum into tomorrow’s racing.”
With two days of racing remaining GAC Pindar currently lies in fourth place with 97 points.
