2015 CORK Fall Regatta – Final day overall

Second and final day of the Fall CORK Regatta. The day consisted of light winds from the North West, providing tricky conditions for the sailors and race committees. The Soling and Laser Standard fleets were the only fleets able to complete a race.

In the Soling fleet, Peter Hall, Will Hall and Steve Lacey placed first in today’s race, finishing the regatta with straight bullets and winning the title of Soling Canadian Champions. On the leader board, Hall is followed by Manfred Kanter, Gord Devries and Kevin Dutra in second, and Terry Booth, Bill Haliburton and Steve McDonah in third. Patrick Wilson and Arie Moffatt finish in first in the 420 fleet, followed by Iain Doran-Des Brisay and Micheal Montagnese in second. Solange Pacarar and Marion Lafrance-Berger finish in third overall, and are the Ontario Women’s Double Handed Champions in the 420 fleet. Louis Riel-Brockie and Sam Bonin finished first in the 29er fleet, with Jack Spears and Siobhan Kidd in second, and Aleks Vagners and Michael Lynch in third. In the 49erFX fleet, Team Arielle Morgan and Heather Myatt finish first overall and are the Ontario Women’s Double Handed Champions in the 49erFX. Morgan and Myatt are followed by Evan DePaul and William Jones in second.

In the Laser Standard fleet, Hugh Macrae was able to finish first in today's race to move from third to first overall. Ian Elliot finishes the regatta in second and Justin Norton in third. Sarah Douglas is first overall in the Laser Radial open division and is the Ontario Women's Single Handed Champion in the Radial. Douglas is followed by Matti Muru in second, and Philipe Pasquin in third. In the Optimist fleet, Dale Whitmore wins overall, with Colin Davies in second. Georgia Phillips finishes in third overall and is the Ontario Women's Single Handed Champion in the Optimist.
