2015 Bruce Watters Green Fleet Regatta overall

St Petersburg - 50th Annual Bruce Watters Regatta St. Petersburg Yacht Club
Forty-seven sailors were in attendance for the 50th annual Bruce Watters Green Fleet Regatta hosted this weekend by the St Petersburg Yacht Club with many sailors competing for their first time ever in the Opti.
Racing was tight in the top ten, with first through ninth separated by only seven points. Harrison Molesky from the Manatee River Pram Fleet was the top performer finishing with scores of 5/5/3 over the three race series. Finishing in second place and winning a three-boat tiebreaker was Mason Sullivan, followed by Peyton Weaver in third and Alexis Young in fourth.
Harrison Molesky will be added to the Bruce Watters Perpertual Trophy. The trophy will remain on display at the St Petersburg Yacht Club until next year’s event. Previous winners of the trophy are 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist Allison Jolly, Americas Cup Champion Ed Baird, and two time Olympian Mark Mendelblatt.
