Tous les éléments du puzzle sont en train de se mettre en place. Le voilier est arrivé en Suisse, de nouveaux partenaires se sont associés au projet, de nouveaux spécialistes ont rejoint le team! Depuis, toute l’équipe s’active pour assembler les derniers éléments et mettre au point les derniers détails d’une campagne victorieuse.

Premier acte en fin de semaine passée: le container transportant le précieux Class C du team AXON Racing, le mythique Cogito, double vainqueur de la Little Cup, est arrivé en Suisse. Toute l’équipe s’est alors mise en mouvement pour transformer les morceaux de carbone soigneusement emballés dans du papier-bulle en un coursier du lac prêt à remporter des régates de la Little Cup! L’assemblage du mécano s’est effectué en deux jours et le Class C battant pavillon Suisse a tiré ses premiers bords dimanche au large de la SNG.

« Nous sommes très heureux: tous les éléments sont arrivés en parfait état et notre travail du week-end s’est déroulé sans surprises », raconte Benoît Morelle, le responsable du projet AXON Racing. « Nous sommes parvenus à effectuer notre première session d’entraînement sur le Léman avec un jour d’avance sur notre planification initiale. »
