Vic-Maui boats, past and future, were active participants at the 2015 Van Isle 360 race, which ran in 9 stages starting June 6 and finishing June 20. The record fleet of over 50 boats and some 485 sailors enjoyed truly epic sailing conditions, beating, reaching and running in great pressure.

Vic-Maui at Swiftsure
The Vic-Maui information session at Swiftsure was very well attended. Royal Vancouver Yacht Club's Vic-Maui Event Chair David Sutcliffe delivered the presentation and took questions from interested sailors. A big 'thank you' is owed to Swiftsure for their support.
Swiftsure's 2015 fleet of about 200 boats enjoyed fantastic sailing conditions, a 'race for the ages', according to the dock talk after the race. Vic-Maui boats Longboard, JAM, Terremoto, Time Bandit, Kinetic, Miles, and Ion all reached the podium in their respective classes. Kraken, Family Affair, Kahuna, String Theory, Atalanta, Bravo Zulu, Darby, Double Take, First Sight, HMCS Oriole, Marda Gras, Night Runner also participated.
