180 Southport Yacht Club (SYC) members and visitors will come together on Saturday 18th July for the 2015 Commodore’s Gala Ball. Held in the SYC Compass Room, the event is themed to coincide with the launch of the Inaugural Commodore’s Cruise.

Along with Zeppelin Travel and Cunard, SYC Commodore Phil Short is extremely happy to announce the Inaugural Commodore’s Tour, along with the 2015 Commodore Gala Ball. ‘The event is a great initiative to invite visitors to join in on what Southport Yacht Club has to offer’ says Commodore Phil.

‘Having been a member of the Club for over five years, and a past member of the Royal Australian Navy, I am extremely enthusiastic and passionate about the tradition and etiquette of Commodore’s position’ Commodore Phil adds.

Commencing at six o’clock, the event is hosted by a five piece dance band, along with a four course banquet dinner and a beverage pack included. Limited bookings are still available, for further information or to book for the event, please contact Southport Yacht Club on 07 5591 3500.
