2015 Australian Women’s Match Racing Championship - Entries open!

Applications are open for the 2015 Australian Women’s Match Racing Championships, to be held September 24 – 27. This year’s championships will be held using the Club's fleet of eight identical Elliott 7’s on the beautiful waters of Pittwater, NSW.

Applications for entry have opened and the event has already received interest from some of Australia’s top women’s teams including last year’s champion Katie Spithill and world ranked number seven Milly Bennett and her MAXX crew who will be competing at the ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championships in July. Eight teams will be invited to compete in three days of racing.

The pristine waters of Pittwater provide flat water and a stunning backdrop for intense and exciting competition making the RPAYC a favorite racing location for sailors all around the world. For assistance finding accommodation or billeting for the event please do not hesitate to contact the RPAYC Sailing Office.

The Notice of Race and online entry is now available on the RPAYC website.

The event schedule will be as follows:

• Thursday 24th September – Optional practice session, registration and weigh in
• Friday 25th September – Registration and weigh in continues, racing and welcoming function after racing.
• Saturday 26th September – Racing
• Sunday 26th September – Racing and presentation
