2015 Mid-Winter One Design Regatta - Action starts from 11 July

Annual Mid-Winter One Design Regatta 2015 - The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club invites all eligible One Design Classes including Etchells, Ynglings, Dragons, Melges 24, Vipers, J70s, 5.5m, 11m, Stars, Elliott 7s and other classes to compete in the annual Mid-Winter One Design Regatt on the week-end of the 11th and 12th of July, 2015.

Racing will be held inshore from 1100hrs and will be a windward - leeward course, with up to six races (up to nine for Melges 24s) across the two days on the waters of Pittwater, most likely in the bid pond just north of Scotland Island.

Pittwater Etchells sailor and RPAYC member, Jill Connell says, 'This is a great opportunity for One Design class sailors wanting some more regatta competition during winter to join us on Pittwater for a couple of great days of racing. We would like to see as many One Design boats on Pittwater so please come and join in the mid-winter regatta.'



The Halyards Bistro and Bar is open for breakfast over the weekend from 0730hrs.

Post racing Saturday competitors are invited to dine in Halyards and enjoy a Cook Your Own barbeque from the Bistro.

Prize giving will be held on Sunday afternoon post racing in Halyards.

Eligible boats must enter via the online entry system available on the RPAYC website.

Berthing is available to all visiting boats free of charge from Friday through to Monday, contact RPAYC Waterfront to arrange allocations.

Future dates for One Design Regattas at RPAYC include:
• 7 and 8 November
• 11 and 12 February (Twilight Races)
• 21 and 22 May
• 9 and 10 July
