Pease note that Larchmont YC will host the Long Island Sound Championship regatta over Labor Day weekend. This two day regatta (Sun-Mon) should attract many of the top Etchells sailors and will offer them a chance to sail competitively in western Long Island Sound just prior to the North Americans. Boasts can launch out of American YC for those three days, then boats can be kept there with rig up through the NAs.

World Championship
November in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Worlds organizing committee is hoping that many US sailors make the trip in November. It may be tight, but the hosts feel it's most do-able to sail at the NAs, pack up and ship the boat to Hong Kong in time to sail the Worlds November 1-7. Click here to view an information package to help with any venue and logistics questions you may have. This pdf is also posted on the Worlds Regatta page on our web site.

To those folks traveling this season, Senet Bischoff has shared a checklist he compiled for packing up the boat after an event and rigging it just prior to an event.

Mid-Winters West
March 27-29

Congratulations go out to Tom Carruthers, Chris Busch and Andrew Palfey for their first place finish at the Etchells Midwinters West!
