Etapa mais longa da Volvo Ocean Race terá chegada emocionante com quatro barcos disputando a liderança. Molhes de Itajaí, Beira Rio, site oficial, aplicativo e até a sala de imprensa na Vila da Regata são opções

Os barcos que disputam a quinta etapa da Volvo Ocean Race chegam, neste domingo (5), à cidade de Itajaí (SC), depois de mais de 12 mil quilômetros desde Auckland, na Nova Zelândia. Abu Dhabi, MAPFRE, Team Alvimedica e Team Brunel - não necessariamente nessa ordem - devem cruzar a linha de chegada a partir das 15h (Horário de Brasília).



Os fãs da Volta ao Mundo não vão perder nenhum momento dessa chegada épica, que terá o atleta olímpico brasileiro André 'Bochecha' Fonseca como um dos protagonistas a bordo do barco espanhol MAPFRE. A chegada será transmitida ao vivo pelo site da regata: www.volvooceanrace.com, pelos aplicativos em Andrid e iOs e pelo canal do Youtube. Quem estiver em Itajaí poderá ver de perto os barcos nos molhes da Atalaia e Navegantes e na avenida Beira Rio, a mesma da Vila da Regata.

A previsão do tempo para Itajaí indica muitas nuvens e chuva a qualquer hora do dia, em decorrência de uma frente fria de fraca intensidade que passa pelo estado de Santa Catarina. Para não se molhar e ter maior conforto, a orientação da organização da Volvo Ocean Race é acompanhar as chegadas na Sala de Imprensa, localizada dentro da Vila da Regata - Centreventos - Av. Ministro Victor Konder, nº 303 (Beira Rio).
