Water Ski Races on Lake Macquarie - Changed boating conditions

Boaters are reminded to keep clear of a section of Wangi Wangi Bay on Lake Macquarie next Sunday for the safe staging of water ski races.
Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence to Hunter Ski Race Club to host the event on Sunday 22 March from 9am to 4pm.
The event area will be marked by buoys and monitored by control vessels.
Those in vessels not involved in the event should not enter the marked area unless authorised by a boating safety officer or a police officer.
Roads and Maritime reminds people to wear a lifejacket when boating, especially in vessels smaller than 4.8 metres when alone, at night or offshore.
