With a month to go before the start of the 2015 APC Logistics Brisbane to Gladstone Multihull Yacht Race there are already 14 entries with more expected.

The yachts that are currently entered include:

Attitude - the first of the Schionning G-Forces to enter this year's race. Attitude was Club Champion in 2012 and with new sails and consistent appearances in weekly races have honed this boat's performance in recent years. One to watch.

The Boat Works Former APC Max and Indian Chief. Now owned by Julian Griffiths and Tony Longhurst. A newcomer to Qld waters in this configuration and surely one of the boats to watch for line honours.

Boss Racing - Boss has taken line honours in 2010 and 2013 but this year they have plenty of completion and will need a good performance to make it three wins.

Catalina - the 21st race for this veteran of the event. Dale is carrying the mail for the Philatelic Society this year but that won't slow this Rogers catamaran down for hopefully a strong handicap result.

Captain Silver - A Cloud 12 from the Simpson stable. While the crew may not be looking for line honours they stand a very strong chance on handicap, someone to watch depending on what the weather does.

Chillpill - hot off a win at Hamilton Island Race Week and a win on OMR a PHS in the Surf to City Offshore race. They also have new sails and a top crew that are keen to make a big showing in the race results this year.

Cut Snake - a previous winner on OMR and keen to repeat this. Cut Snake has been campaigning hard in recent years and will certainly be one to watch during this year’s race.

Earthling - A Young 57 Catamaran - returning to the Brisbane to Gladstone fleet after a few years absence and first to get their entry in. Word is that Earthling has a new set of sails for the race and the crew are keen to do well.

Fantasia - returning to contest the race again Fantasia has also been campaigning hard and are keen to take out an OMR win in this iconic event.

Hasta la Vista - the new toy of Jim and Lyle. Hasta la Vista has been fast at times in the past year while they learnt the boat. Now that they have it all worked out it will be interesting to see their pace on the long legs of this race.

J'Ouvert - Under the new ownership of Stephen Barton this rocket fast Pescott, well known in northern Queensland racing circuits is set to take on the Gladstone fleet. Certainly another to watch on handicap.

Morticia - Back to contest this iconic Queensland event this Seacart trimaran. Hotly raced in Sydney and doesn't mind travelling for the big events.

Morticia was second to Team Australia in the 2014 race and would be favourites for line honours in 2015. They hold the Adelaide to Port Lincoln Race Record, set in 2014. It is good to see Shaun and his crew return.
