The final day of the SB20 2015 Australian Championships gets underway on the River Derwent in Hobart this morning. The series score heading into the last day of racing is Glenn Bourke (Red) at the top of the table on 11 points, Michael Cooper (Export Roo) in second place on 16 points followed by Nick Rogers (Karabos) on 29 points.
A fleet of 25 boats began the championships which are hosted by the Derwent Sailing Squadron, although Andrew Blakney (Wicked) has retired from the regatta with ongoing pole damage, dropping the fleet to 24.
Regatta PRO PRO Nick Hutton has all but given up on the weather forecast which has proven to be as variable as the weather itself.
Eight races have been sailed in the 12 race series. There will be no starts today after 15:00.
