Suzuki Marine Dealers up and down the country will this week take delivery of a brand new stock of DF2.5Ls – the long shaft edition, which will also be taking pride of place on the Suzuki stand (F10) at the upcoming RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show (28 February – 01 March).

This incredibly popular and versatile little outboard is lightweight, compact and portable. The new DF2.5L has a shaft length of 508mm (a full 127mm longer than the standard shaft) and is aimed at the sailing market for use as an auxiliary engine on small sailing boats and dinghies; widening the choice for customers in this market sector.

'Engines such as the new DF2.5 long shaft are ideal for use as auxiliary engines, chase or support craft, and, of course, safety boats. As title sponsor of the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show we will be giving sailors the chance to see this new model at Alexandra Palace throughout the show', commented George Cheeseman, Sales and Marketing Manager for Suzuki GB’s Marine Division.

This new model weighs just 14kg, which means it is very easy to lift and transport with its large carrying handle. It also benefits from a range of features such as F-N gear shift, water-cooling and a one litre fuel tank.

'The DF2.5L is the latest example of our engineers’ commitment to product development. We are confident that this new outboard – a welcome addition to Suzuki’s ultimate range of four stroke outboards – will prove to be extremely popular with boaters up and down the country', continued Cheeseman.

Suzuki Marine’s extensive Dealer Network will take delivery of the DF2.5Ls this week and high sales are anticipated. For the latest updates and to find your nearest Dealer, visit website, call 0500 011 959 FREE or find ‘Suzuki Marine UK’ on Facebook and Twitter.
