2015 Canadian Team qualification update

The ISAF Sailing World Cup will launch a new format beginning in 2015, dramatically changing the profile of the World Cup events. Due to the new format, The ISAF Sailing World Cup – Miami event has exceeded the entry quota in many classes.
The entry restriction can potentially exclude Canadians from this event, thus deeming the ISAF World Cup Miami no longer viable for 2015 Canadian team qualification (in certain classes). The following memo outlines all the changes effective immediately for the following classes: 49er, 49erFX, RS:X Men and Women, and Laser Men.
These changes do not diminish the significance of the ISAF Miami World Cup to the Canadian Sailing Team but rather provides an ‘open’ opportunity for Canadian sailors vying for positions on the National Team.
