Arvor reveals new diesel range

by Arvor Boats Australia on 20 Nov 2014
690 D Arvor Australia
Boat building should be both creative and technical and Arvor has always sought to push back its boundaries. This is what inspired its creators in the first place. And this is what leads us to the future.

This summer Arvor Boats are delighted to announce the launch of two new models to the hugely popular and ever growing Arvor range – the 690 D and 730 D.

Featuring a new deck layout on the proven Arvor hull, the new models offer more fishing room and better access to the bow, the new cabin gives greater visibility and a more comfortable journey.

Fitted with the traditional shaft driven inboard Mercury Diesel, the 690 D is capable of 22 knots whilst the larger 730 D will push in excess of 23 knots. Low-speed trolling makes the range ideal for offshore fishing and family cruising.

The Arvor 690 D and 730 D both come packed with impressive features, including;

• A large fishing cockpit with storage for up to six fishing rods, lockable floor storage, fish locker, live well and complete self-draining deck.

• Safe access to the boat via a walkthrough transom. The boat has a large walk-around cabin giving access to the new bow seating along with stable standing/fishing configuration.

• A cabin with 360 degree visibility, tempered glass windshield with wipers, sliding port and starboard windows and roof hatch for extra ventilation and wider doors for easy access.

• A forward double berth with filler cushions and storage below berth.

Factory options for both models include a second helm station, electronics pack, sun awning, coloured hull and a starboard flip up seat. A marine toilet also available on the 730 D.

According to Arvor Australia’s MD, Peter Collins; 'This new-Arvor generation offers the best of both worlds. It brings together the tried and tested Arvor hull originally designed for the North Sea with a modern deck configuration similar to our Sportfish range in a seamless package that means better fishing and better comfort for our customers.'

By distinguishing itself with values of inventiveness and creativity, Arvor has earned its place as a true pioneer in the world of boat building. Since its boats were first launched back in 1998, Arvor has been at the forefront of design evolution.

The Arvor 690 D and 730 D will be presented at various international boat shows such as Paris boat show and Düsseldorf and will be a real feature at the 2015 Australian Boat Shows.
