Ski racing on the Mighty Murray - Ted Hurley Classic Geoff Thompson
If you love water skiing, this is an event you cannot miss! The brand new Ted Hurley Memorial Classic, a joint initiative of Mildura Ski Club and Ski Racing Victoria is set to kick off in Wentworth on Saturday, 29 November 2014.

The race, in honour of Australian water skiing champion and legend Ted Hurley, will take place in two rivers – starting in the Darling River at Wentworth passing though the Murray Darling Junction and up the Murray River to Mildura with Apex Park being the turnaround point.

Separate events offer something for water-skiing enthusiasts of any age and experience level, from the elite through to kids and social races for both men and women.

From the finish line, see the 150 entrants racing around the final bends to the finishing line and enjoy additional riverfront activities including Hot Rod and various motorbike club displays, food and drink stalls and an on-location market.

Check out and compare the powerful sexy speedboats that will tow skiers to victory at Friday night’s ‘Show and Shine’ display in Wentworth.

With bands present, the night is sure to set the weekend off with a bang!
