METS - TRAC Ecological to feature environment-friendly products

by TRAC Ecological on 12 Nov 2014
TRAC Ecological
TRAC Ecological will feature its range of environment-friendly products for onboard equipment cleaning and maintenance on stand 09.515 at the 2014 Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), November 18-20 at Amsterdam RAI.

Marine growth and scale build-up are major causes of water-cooled equipment failure. Traditional methods of cleaning (such as mechanical brushing or harsh acids) can damage equipment and are potentially harmful to the user and the environment.

TRAC Ecological offers a unique line of safe, biodegradable chemicals that efficiently and economically dissolve scale, barnacles, zebra mussels, calcium, rust, lime and other mineral deposits that can reduce water flow.

Barnacle Buster™ is a safe, non-toxic and biodegradable marine growth remover specifically formulated for cleaning seawater cooled equipment. With minimal dismantling required, Barnacle Buster can be safely re-circulated through seawater cooling systems, dissolving barnacles, zebra mussels, calcium, rust, lime and all other mineral deposits.

Descaler™ is a safe, biodegradable scale remover designed to dissolve water scale and deposits from within fresh water systems.

GreenClean Boat Soap™ is safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive and 100% biodegradable in under 28 days. An efficient, concentrated solution (just one capful per gallon of water) that is tough on dirt, very effective on all boat surfaces and leaves no residue - without the use of harsh chemicals. Fragrance-free, non-butyl based and contains no phosphates, dyes or chlorinated ingredients.

Sew Clean™ is the most effective alternative when it comes to removing uric scale from deep inside black water systems. Formulated specifically to clean sewage systems from toilet to tank, will dissolve clogs which cause plumbing to overflow and create nasty odors.

PSR™ rids potable water systems of odors and discoloration by attacking the source. Scale builds on low lying, flat sections of systems, allowing bacteria to form. PSR™ targets and removes these areas, bringing new life to fresh water systems.
