Cette avarie est survenue vers 17h30 alors qu'il progressait à 380 milles dans l’Est de l’archipel des Açores au large des côtes du Portugal.

Conrad Humphreys va bien, il maîtrise la situation et sécurise son bateau. La direction de course de la Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe a alerté le CROSS et reste en contact avec lui pour envisager la manière de lui permettre rallier les côtes au plus Route du Rhum
