2.4mR practice race 1 Sail Canada / Voile Canada http://www.sailing.ca/
Bruine, brouillard et vent variable de l’est ont accueilli les marins en cette deuxième journée des Championnats. Trois courses ont pu être faites, causant un remaniement important au tableau de pointage. Le Canadien Allan Leibel s’est hissé au troisième rang, derrière Megan Pascoe (GBR) et Bjørnar Erikstad (NOR), grâce à de bons résultats constants et 2,3 et 7. Paul Tingley a reculé au 7e rang alors que le Suédois Stellan Berlin remonte suite à une disqualification la veille, en affichant un 3, 1, 1, lui permettant ainsi de remonter au 10e rang.

Les poids lourds de la voile poursuivent leurs luttes pour deux autres journées avant le couronnement du champion en 2.4.
