Platu 25 World Championship - Euz II Monella Vagabonda still leading

by Sabrina Bonaiti on 25 Sep 2014
Platu 25 Worlds in Antibes Gérard Chauvel
2014 Platu 25 World Championship - Three races have been competed today in totally different weather conditions. Yesterday stong wind (30 knots) and high wave (three metres) put crews through the wringler.

Today, instead, wind went down allowing three races. So the Platu 25 World Championship, organized by Société de Régates de Antibes – Juan les Pins, could get off the ground. The Italian 'EUZ II Monella Vagabonda' owned by Francesco Lanera and helmed by Sandro Montefusco keeps leading the general ranking.

Guys from Puglia, Souh Italy, are confirming a leadership difficult to scrape. In the meanwhile the other team coming from Puglia 'Five for Fighting 3' owned by Tommaso De Bellis and helmed by Giulio Desiderato is the protagonist of a spectacular remount and gains many positions conquering the second place.

The third place is for the Swiss 'Superbusi' helmed by Mathias Bermejo. To follow, the French 'Black Flag' helmed by Christophe Cheffardon, that today got a fantastic first place in the second race.

General Ranking after four races and one discard:
