St. Maarten Heineken Regatta attends the HISWA te Water show

The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta once again attended the HISWA te Water show this year with supporters from Holland manning the booth in Amsterdam. A hugely successful show with over 200 exhibitors and just under 25,000 visitors in 2013 the HISWA gave the team the ideal platform to talk to many sailors about their plans to attend the Regatta March 5 - 8, 2015.

With help from On Air Media and longtime partners Kras and Windward Adventures, sailors were encouraged to sign up early and take advantage of the early entry competition. This enabled participants to enter into a prize draw to win free entry for the 2015 Regatta. With four charter bookings for our partners and over 117 entries into the competition this was a busy and successful few days for the team. There were even volunteers from previous regatta's on hand to answer questions and represent the 150 volunteers that make the Regatta happen every year.

A big congratulations to winners, Leon de Koning, Ted Gerritsen, Niels Schröder, Arderik Bos and Edwin Herpst. The team at St. Maarten Heineken Regatta looks forward to welcoming you to St. Maarten.

Regatta enthusiasts who did not make it to the boat show can still be a part of the fun as more campaigns and promotions will be held in the coming months. Follow the event on Facebook and Twitter for more details.
