Volvo Noble Marine RS300 National Championship 2014 Eddie Mays
Only a fortnight to go until the RS300 Nationals at Prestwick Sailing Club in Scotland. We are very excited that this will be the biggest RS300 Nationals ever with 35 boats competing.

For many years the RS300s have had a competition within a competition: the team trophy for three boats from the same club.

Eight teams have entered this year - the largest number ever. Teams are being fielded by the title defender Aldenham SC, Prestwick SC, Sheffield Viking SC and the Down South SC (Emsworth and Thorney Island).

The event starts on Thursday 14 August and concludes after 10 races with prize giving on Sunday 17 August. There is still time to enter. All the event information can be found here.

Prestwick SC is found on the West coast of Scotland. The club have planned an exciting mix of spectacular racing, delicious home cooked food, fully stocked bar and busy social schedule. Highlights include the sailing supper, comedy night and whisky tasting.

Clare Sargent, on behalf of the RS300 Class Association commented 'The RS300 Class is really excited to be sailing at such a great venue as Prestwick Sailing Club. The racing is set to be exciting and demanding, and the shoreside socials will be equally dangerous.'
