Inflatables, you see them everywhere right? with all sorts of names right? But the best ones you’ll find will only ever be a copy a Zodiac.

After over 75 years in production and giving the world its first inflatable boat, the mark of Z lives on.

At the Sydney Boat Show this year, the mark of Zodiac is on display bigger, brighter and better than ever. This year there will be three dealers displaying the vast array of Zodiac products, including the world famous Zodiac tender varieties on display at the Waves Overseas stand, the budget beating 'Zoom by Zodiac' boats, being displayed on the Sydney Power Boat Centre display, Stand 405.

The stand that will draw the attention of boaties everywhere will be on the Lifestyle Marine stand, featuring the Australian launch of the 'Yachtline 380 Deluxe', along with their biggest display of Zodiac RIBS ever. Dealer Principal of Lifestyle Marine, Damien Hurt said 'We couldn’t be more proud than to display Zodiac products such as, the Pro 420, 500, 550 and the luxurious Medline 500'.

'In fact we will have dealers from around Australia, joined by the National Manager of Zodiac Marine, talking with our customers on the stand throughout the show!' said Mr Hurt.

Dino Tantaro of Zodiac Marine said: 'A little known fact about this 75 year old French company (Zodiac) is, that until the early 60s, Zodiac inflatables were only available to the military. It was people like Jacques Cousteau, who popularized its use among civilians.'

Zodiac went on to set the bench mark by which all others are judged.

'The others are getting better, but trust is a most valuable thing, it takes years to earn and only seconds to lose,' said Mr Tantaro. 'We have earned the trust of sailors, passengers, militaries and navies around the world'.

Mr Tantaro was very candid when asked 'what’s in name?' his reply was 'Everything! Just because a boat looks like a Zodiac, I assure you one thing, that’s where the similarity ends!'
