Hobie Sailing Scene is reopening in Mona Vale this weekend

Hobies in flight Hobie Australia
After two years absence, the iconic Hobie Sailing Scene store in Mona Vale will again open its doors this weekend.

This time marine industry icon Andrew Brown is heading up the team that will supply and service the brilliant Hobie range of products including the full range of Kayaks that it seems every second fisherman is raving about.

'The Hobie guys were really keen we got this location going again' said Andrew. 'There is such an interest now, especially with the Kayaks which are so popular with campers and fishing enthusiasts and the SUP’s are going off around here. The Hobie head office has received so many enquiries... It’s about time there was local distribution and, importantly, service'.

'People from all over Sydney come to the Northern Beaches to fish' said Andrew. 'Even though the doors weren’t officially open we were still getting people from as far away as Penrith knocking and wanting some help'.

For the fishers and paddlers, each Saturday morning there will be demos available at Winnererremy Bay, Bayview where you can get to know the range of SUP’s and Kayaks including the remarkable Mirage Drive – pedalling instead of paddling! There’ll be experts on hand to answer your questions and you can push off into the bay and get a real sense of what these Hobie water craft are all about.

Sailing Scene will provide a full parts and warranty support for all products as well as the myriad optional extras available – ropes and shackles to fish-finders and paddles.

'Service is what we’ll be known for' said Andrew. 'No one leaves here without instruction on how to get the most out their new toy. We’ll even show them the best way to get it on the roof of their car'.

For more information contact Andrew on 02 9979 6546 or check the website.
