Marineworldsales.co.nz has been developed as a marketing tool and information site for seafarers and professionals alike. The goal of the website is to develop into a 'showcase' of everything marine in New Zealand and its associated industries.

This is the first website of its kind in New Zealand, and enables private sellers item’s to be listed free, and Retailers can utilize the unlimited listing option. Clubs, Associations and Organizations, can also use the site to promote their services at no cost.

After registering, private users are able to post four photos and accompanying text. Potential buyers are then able to contact the seller directly in relation to the product. Contact is made through the Marine World Sales site and Sellers are able to receive statistics on views and emails received.

Retailers have the option of listing all of their products and services. They can also use the 'Bulk Uploading Tool'. Items can also be deemed 'Commercial' so that commercially rated items can be separated for easy browsing.

Retailers have links to their website and contact details. They develop their own retailer’s page as they list items. Their physical address appears on the retailer's map, and their company logo will appear next to their products. They will also show up in 'What other people are viewing' and 'New Items'.

The use of marineworldsales.co.nz to enhance a retailer’s web presence is as easy as registering. If you wish to run a promotion on a product you don’t have to go through the cost of modifying your own website just utilize Marine World Sales, and you are able to show all of your products online.

Buyers can browse almost 40 categories and over 300 sub-categories catering for everything marine. The categories will expand as required, and only categories that have been filled will appear in the browse catalog.

The home page is very simple, no advertising and no pop-up’s, no surprises. It is a very easy site to navigate and has categories for all types of boats as well as services from Lawyers to Shipwrights, Sailing Yachts to Fishing Gear.

Marine World Sales believe that it is important that the home page remains uncluttered, and not engulfed in adverts and distractions from the prime aim, that the user can go directly to the sub categories that you wish to browse.

'Keep It Simple' has been the whole philosophy of the site as well as minimal cost. Unlike some other sites, we believe that we can maintain very low overheads and bring the savings to the user, and as they say 'the best things in life are free'. We know that competitors are being developed so we are keen to meet the challenge and bring a viable option to the marine public, and we are proud to be 'the first around the top mark.'

The aim is to become the 'Blue Pages' of the marine world for New Zealand. As the site transforms and develops over the next few years to meet the requirements of the boating public, and professional mariner, we hope that you, the user remain with us.
