XCAT - Dubai’s Price looking for a repeat performance in Stresa GP

'Naples was a disappointing race for my team and I. Not because of the crash but because the team worked all night to repair the boat to perfect condition and I wasn't able to repay their hard work with a podium,' said Price. 'I will work closely with my driver to understand the course and we will have to put Napoli behind us,' he added.

Price is looking forward to returning to the site of his maiden XCAT victory last year. 'Stresa holds a special place in my heart, not just because it was my first ever XCAT win, but also because it is such a beautiful and relaxing city. I think the excitement of the fans made it a special day for me,' he explained.

Speaking about the 2014 Stresa GP, which takes place from June 20-22 in the beautiful town on the banks of Lago Maggiore, Price added: 'I am confident that we will give our best performance possible and hopefully that will equate
to a win.'

Price and Al Dhaheri are a relatively new combination in the Series, and the American explained: 'We are still adjusting to each other’s strong and weak points. We will need to think as one to achieve our goals.

'Both Sultan and I come from a Formula Racing background. I like to push hard and he has no fear. Last year when we won the Stresa race I was with a different driver, our first time together. So I am sure that we can master the course very quickly.'

The Fazza duo of Arif Al Zaffain and Nadir Bin Hendi currently lead the UIM Skydive Dubai XCAT World Series with 1200 points and have been in phenomenal form this season – remaining unbeaten in the first three rounds of the Series.

Price and Al Dhaheri are second with 620 points and the Italian combination of Tomaso Polli and Matteo Nicolini third on XCAT website
