The Marina Day Cup concluded last Sunday with the most exciting races and wind gusts from 10 to 15 knots. More than 250 sailors could be seen in the lake of Valle de Bravo.

This third edition of the Circuito Mexicano de Vela 2014 was the last qualifier for J70 and Optimist to International Championships, a great opportunity for Mexicans to develop in the world of sailing. The Mexican Sailing Federation has managed to bring growth in the sport during the first half of this year, achieving in 2014 to exceed the number of sailors with international participation and improve their competitive level.

Today was the closing ceremony with the presence of Mr. Giovanni Aloi Timeus, president of the FMV, who recognized the high level of achievement in the sport in Mexico.

The winners of each class received a special award from Milwaukee tools, a leader in technological innovation in power tools and current official sponsor that has been added to this great effort made by the FMV.
