Launched last year with great success, the NB Sailsports Laser Winter Series is back on this year’s calendar and it’s even bigger and better than before.
The series consist of five one-day events with one event each month running from May through to September.
Racing kicks off this Sunday May 18 at Middle Harbor Armature Sailing Club with a 1pm start time and 3 races scheduled.
The series then tours onto; Woollahra, Belmont, Gosford, and finishing at Double Bay where the end of series presentation will take place.
The ultimate prize of a free Laser trade for a New Laser is a big attraction to participate as every race completed earns a raffle ticket with the draw taking place at the final presentation.
This series should help our Aussie Master’s sailors in their preparations for the World Championship in October and keep the cobwebs at bay for others whilst being lots of fun for all.

18 May: Middle Harbour Amateur Sailing Club – First Warning 1pm, three races.
29 June: Woollhara Sailing Club – First Warning 10am, three races.
20 July: Belmont 16ft Skiff Club – First Warning 11am, three races.
31 August: Gosford Sailing Club – First Warning 1pm, three races.
20 September: Double Bay Sailing Club – First Warning 1pm, three races.
