La 1ª Regata Valencia – San Antonio, lista para zarpar

Más de quince embarcaciones tomarán mañana la salida de esta prueba lúdico-deportiva que unirá Valencia e Ibiza.

El Real Club Náutico de Valencia celebra los días 1 y 2 de mayo la primera edición de la Regata Valencia – San Antonio, una prueba que combina la parte lúdica que conlleva cruzar en barco a las islas Baleares con la exigencia de una prueba deportiva de altura.

La regata consiste en un recorrido entre el RCN Valencia y Es Nàutic Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza), que es además coorganizador de la prueba junto con la Federación de Vela de Comunitat Valenciana y la Federación Balear de Vela.


La flota participante quedará dividida entre las embarcaciones de vela que compiten en la regata y los acompañantes, unidades de vela o motor que no optarán a los trofeos de competición, a excepción del de pesca.

La prueba comenzará mañana jueves 1 de mayo y el viernes 2 se celebrará la entrega de trofeos y una cena de regatistas en el náutico de Sant Antoni.


Para potenciar la dimensión lúdica y el espíritu amistoso de esta prueba, no sólo recibirán trofeo los tres primeros clasificados de cada clase, sino también la embarcación que llegue primero en tiempo real, la embarcación que pesque a curricán la pieza más grande y el último clasificado en tiempo real.

Por el momento el número de inscritos ya supera la quincena y entre ellos se encuentran embarcaciones tanto valencianas como ibicencas. 'Queremos convertir esta prueba en una cita anual en la que los participantes disfruten de la travesía y tengan al mismo tiempo la emoción de la competición', aseguran desde el club valenciano.
