by AIMEX-Superyacht Australia on 3 Apr 2014
Carl and Grant Amor, Aqualuma Directors AIMEX
MaryAnne Edwards AIMEX CEO announced today that Aqualuma, the world’s leading marine underwater light manufacturer has signed on as sponsor for the ASMEX welcome function to be held this year at 'Black Angus Bar and Grill' on the marina in the Sanctuary Cove Village.

Since 2004, Aqualuma has redefined the underwater light industry with their superior technology and high quality products. Aqualuma’s iconic thru-hull range is the world’s first and only underwater light range with a one piece housing unit that has no lenses or seals.

The Aqualuma range has grown to include a comprehensive and versatile range of underwater lighting, including thru-hull submersible and deck. 2012 saw the release of a new range of commercial and industrial lighting range for buildings and warehouses. All Aqualuma lights feature LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology.

Today, Aqualuma is a Global company which operates sales, service centres in Europe, Asia, UAE, Oceania and the Americas. Though Patented worldwide and distributed in over 42 Countries, Aqualuma’s products remain proudly designed and manufactured in Australia.

In a push to increase awareness their products across Australian and the world, Aqualuma sees the Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference as a significant platform in which to profile their products and services to the industry.

Carl Amor Managing Director for Aqualuma stated 'We have been a supporter of ASMEX since its inception. We jumped on the opportunity to sponsor the welcome function which this year is designed to be bigger and better than ever. The venue is by far one of the best venues in the village overlooking the marina and given this is the key informal networking event before the conference begins it is a great opportunity for us to talk to existing and new clients.'

The ASMEX Conference is the only platform providing opportunities for industry to gain up to date information on the state of the marine export and superyacht industry and where it is believed future business will come from. The conference will be held at the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, runs over 2 days, 20-21 May and includes the welcome function as well as the prestigious 2014 Australian Marine Export and Superyacht Awards Gala Dinner.

The ASMEX social program provides significant opportunities for delegates to network with like-minded industry players.

The conference is conveniently organised to be held immediately prior to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show ensuring maximum opportunity for all key industry exhibitors and stakeholders to attend.

Registration is $450 (inc GST) for non-members and $295 for AIMEX & Superyacht Australia members and can be completed via www.superyacht-australia.com and www.aimex.asn.au
