Philippine Hobie Challenge tests sailors

The 14th Philippine Hobie Challenge got underway with two inshore races. In sunny 16 knots of breeze the Hobie 16s had execllent sailing conditions. Bob Engwirda and Carla Kramer won the first two races.
The last race in contrast was one of the toughest route the sailors faced in this challenge is the crossing between Costa Aguada resort Guimaras island to Adhara resort in Iloilo. 40 knot squall and average wind speed of 25 knots with rain and big nasty swells tested the skills of everyone in this final leg of the
