Palm Beach Posing

Rub shoulders with Sydney’s elite sailors in the run up to the Strathfield Pittwater to Coffs Offshore Race this Christmas.
The Simply Sailing School offers its challenging new product 'Palm Beach Posing' to students eager to taste the salt spray of success in a competitive and professional yachting environment.
Sun kissed Palm Beach is the back drop for the two day Regatta, staged on 27 and 28 December. The two days of warm water jousting is the form guide for the one design fleet of Sydney 38’s contesting the two day northern dash to Coffs Harbour on 2 January.
Crew spots on the Sydney 38 Wadadli, with AYF Offshore Racing Skipper Chris Matthews at the helm offer an unparalleled opportunity for students of sailing to build on prior experience and tuition in a pressure pot of regatta racing.
Simply Sailing at the Spit is well known for its passion for sailing, and for its commitment to quality training. Principal Chris Matthews’ benefits from his 20+ years in sail training, and is able to consistently think outside the square to develop new products such as Palm Beach Posing and the Yellow Jersey Twilight Series.
Matthews’ philosophy is simple. 'We’ve developed Palm Beach Posing, and similar products, so that students can mix formal AYF courses with hands on experience in a real life situation. You can take course after course but nothing beats putting the theory into practice. Follow on sailing at an affordable price is critical to ensure that students continue to face new challenges. Our Yellow Jersey Twilight Challenge is a classic example, where we offer weekly twilight sailing on Fridays to competent crew and beyond students.'
Palm Beach Posing forms part of Simply Sailing’s Offshore Race Track, a stimulating and value added set of race training packages.
