Bulka wins 2014 Contender Pre-Worlds

by Rob Kothe and the Sail-World team on 19 Jan 2014
Contender Worlds 2013 International Contender Class Association http://www.contenderclass.org/
A consistent display by Victorian Mark Bulka taking the 2014 Contender Pre-Worlds on Lake Macquarie, on Australia's East Coast. Bulka who was third in the 2013 Lake Como Contender World titles finished ahead of seven times Contender world champion, Andrea Bonezzi (ITA) and Jonathon Neate (AUS) , the 2010 Contender World champion.

However the leaderboard is not the whole story, with Queenslander Matt Mulder only sailing four of the six race series, with three wins and a second showing he has speed to burn and will be the man to watch in the 2014 Contender World titles when racing starts on Tuesday.
