Pro Men's WWA Wake Park World Series Rankings - Aussie on top

The 2013 WWA Wake Park World rankings, historically dominated by Tom Fooshee (USA), Dominic Gurhs (GER), and Daniel Grant (THI), now has a brand new leader. For the first time ever, 2013 Pro Men’s World Champion – Matty Hasler (AUS) is in the number one spot atop the super-competitive Pro Men’s rankings. A familiar face, Daniel Grant tops the Pro Men’s Features ranking, a rail and kicker only ranking.

'After how well my season has been so far, I couldn’t be more excited and happy to be on top of the ranking, but we are only half way through the World Series events, so I can’t celebrate yet.' Says Matty Hasler, 2013 Pro Men’s WWA Wake Park World Champion. 'Really, anything can happen. I just have to keep doing what has been working for me in the last three events to stay in that first spot.'

Of course, Tom Fooshee and Daniel Grant are lurking right behind Matty in the Pro Men’s ranking, as Tom and Matty also have their eyes set on Daniel in the Pro Men’s Features ranking. These three dominating riders are overly impressive, this season has been a 'king of the mountain' type of year, where any rider on any day could win a stop and throw a wrench in Matty, Tom and Daniel’s dominance.

Wake Park World Series rookie, Chandler Powell (USA) has definitely raised some eyebrows this year as well. The 16 year old Tampa, Florida rider has stunned riders on the tour with top finishes on both the Men’s Features and Pro Men’s podiums. Showing consistency is crucial to ranking high on the World Series; and Chandler, sitting at the number four spot, has proven that he’s here to put the pressure on top riders for the rest of the season.

On the Pro Features ranking, veteran rider Julian Cohen (USA) sits just off the top three; Julian can, at anytime, sneak on the podium; however, Julian has yet to make it in a top three spot this year, make sure to keep your eye out for Julian to make his move and raise in the rankings.
