Yacht CN 2013 Nansha Bay International Boat Show Has Officially Opened!

The doors opened on 10 October for the running of the second Yacht CN 2013 Nansha Bay International Boat Show. with more than 50 exhibitors presenting an impressive range of products.

With 50 plus boats and yachts of various sizes from the most well-known international and local brands, more than 1500sqm of on-land display space, show visitors will be treated to an enormous array of things to see and try. This year’s show has also introduce a Lifestyle section where one will find luxury and rare vintage cars, designer clothing and many other things that are part of the high-end lifestyle.

The official Opening Ceremony was held on Friday 11 October, with more than 200 high ranking officials, foreign Consular staff, industry representatives and VIP guests. The VIP list included former prime minister of France His Excellency Dominique de Villepin, the Deputy Governor of Guangdong Province Mrs. Zhao Yufang and Chairman of Fok Ying Tung Group Mr. Timothy Fok.



For the first time in Nansha, visitors will be able to see a spectacular gravity-defying Flyboard performance as it roars up to 9m (30ft) in the air! Action-packed demos will be held throughout the day, each day of the boat show at the demonstration area in Marina basin. For those who wants to feel like a superhero, there will be a chance to try Flyboard on-site.
A professional car racing team will bring ‘Fast & Furious’ right to the show venue with a stunning display of drifting in the marina service yard.

There will also be regular fashion parades, dancing, bands, and Scottish pipers’ performances to enthrall and please every visitor and guest at the event. The varieties of entertainments presented at choice won’t leave anybody indifferent.
M/Y Adastra will be on show at Yacht CN 2013. This striking 140ft trimaran is sure to be the true star of the show. As she is a private vessel, boarding rights are granted by only by the owners, but even a look at this amazing masterpiece of boatbuilding is a rare treat.

Yacht CN 2013-Nansha Bay International Boat Show will be running for four days, three of which will be specially dedicated for VIP trade days, while on the weekend (13th October) the show will be open to the public.
