Gulf Harbour is a a marina near the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, towards the northern end of Auckland. They're having an Open Day on October 12 and all are welcome. All the action is happening at the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club premises situated prominently at the southern end of the Marina.

Club members together with various displays will showcase the many facets of the club activities. Along with the popular racing and cruising programmes the club now offers sail training in keel boats for young people and a recent development is the women’s sailing squadron which offers both training and racing opportunities.

The Club is not just for boating enthusiasts - non-boating people are very welcome to join and enjoy the social side of the club. A number of social events are organised throughout the year, and the club has an excellent restaurant and bar.

The Nautical Bring'n'Buy Sale is an annual favourite where all the boating & fishing junk that is stored away in boat lockers and garages can be brought in and sold or 'recycled'. Each year produces some real bargains for the astute.

Coffee, tea and snacks will be available together with some exciting raffles!

The club is looking forward to another enjoyable boating season which the Open Day will kick off in style.

The Open Day is on Saturday October 12th, 10.00am until 4.00pm.
