by Rob Kothe and the Sail-World Team on 13 Sep 2013
12/09/2013 - San Francisco (USA,CA) - 34th America’s Cup - ORACLE Team USA vs Emirates Team New Zealand, Race Day 4 ACEA / Photo Balazs Gardi http://www.americascup.com/
America's Cup 2013 - Back to the Wall, Oracle Team USA is down 1-6 in the first to 9 series and skipper Jimmy Spithill was grilled again at today's Press Conference.

Here are some extracts..

'We cannot give up and we can keep fighting to the end.

On changing the tactician -' I made the decision and spoke to John and Russell. John Kostecki thought it was good to have a change and as soon as the decision was made he worked hard to get Benny up to speed.

'We did not know that the Kiwis had the upwind speed. That was a shock.

'The Kiwis self tacking jib is an advantage but its not the only thing.

'We still have not seen the lighter end of the spectrum.

'The upwind leg is what we have to focus on.

'We still have a couple of options in terms of changing the bot upwind.

'Its a long way from over in my mind.'
