The 2013 CYCA SOLAS Trusts Bravery Award is also to be presented at the Australian Yachting Awards on 18 October.

Inaugurated in 2012 as a new category introduced to the list of awards presented at the annual Australian Yachting Awards, the Trustees of the CYCA SOLAS Trusts will consider nominations from individuals or crews who have demonstrated what is considered to be as an act of bravery, and who have risked personal safety, or made sacrifices beyond what is reasonably expected during an incident that occurred during the conduct of a Yachting Australia sanctioned sailing event anywhere in Australia.

The nomination form for the 2013 CYCA SOLAS Trusts Bravery Award is available here.
