The stunning Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht from Australia’s favourite and most awarded luxury boat builder will make her European debut at the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, otherwise known as the Cannes Boat Show held from September 10 to 15.

Riviera’s floating display will feature an impressive line-up of the company’s most popular models including the 5800 Sport Yacht, 4400 Sport Yacht, 45 Open Flybridge and the 43 Open Flybridge.

The Cannes Boat Show is one of Europe’s largest and most esteemed boat shows attracting more than 45,600 visitors to the three French Riviera sites, which will feature more than 580 boats on display and 450 exhibitors from 34 countries abroad.

Riviera’s international sales director Chris McCafferty said Riviera was honoured to be part of Europe’s premier in-water boat show.

'The French Riviera is renowned for luxury and boating and Australia’s Riviera is no exception,' Mr McCafferty said.

'This year we look forward to the European debut of the striking 5800 Sport Yacht, which will certainly impress the astute boat buyer with its single-level living, aft galley, four cabins including full-beam master suite, three bathrooms, and large cockpit with tender garage to name but a few of the many design features of this stunning sport yacht – she certainly will be the belle of the boat show.

'Riviera’s latest models have been very well received in the US and we expect the European market will be equally impressed with what Riviera has to offer. We will also have details of our new Belize 54 Sedan and Daybridge on display at Cannes. The Belize Motoryacht line has also been very popular in the US with the brand recently being named the ‘most innovative new builder’ at the inaugural AIM (Active Interest Media) Marine Group Editors’ Choice Awards.

'Our model line-up includes some of our most popular models under 50 feet including the 45 Open Flybridge, 4400 Sport Yacht, and the 43 Open Flybridge with IPS. The 43 has progressed flybridge boat design to a new generation of boating enjoyment.

'With sleeping accommodation for up to six in two large staterooms, two bathrooms including an ensuite to the opulent master stateroom and single level living which extends into the large cockpit and saloon, makes the 43 the perfect entertainer.

'Riviera has also just released the latest model in its stunning new SUV Collection, the 565 SUV. This exciting new model collection is a true crossover between Riviera’s most popular model series and full details will be on display at Cannes.

'Bearing Riviera’s classic hallmark design, the first model in this new collection, the 445 SUV and the latest 565 SUV has been crafted in respect to Riviera’s rich 33 year heritage.

'I have no doubt the new SUV will appeal to the French buyer because it combines the high performance, blue water cruising abilities of the classic Flybridge with the fish raising abilities of the Offshore Express, and features the popular single-level entertaining characters of Riviera’s Sport Yacht series.'

Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said people had long recognised Riviera’s strong build quality and hallmark design over a 33 year evolution where almost 5000 Riviera boats have been launched.

'There is tremendous confidence in the Riviera brand and given the often harsh Australian boating environment, Riviera has developed a solid reputation for building dependable, strong, high quality, ocean-going vessels without compromising on any aspect of luxury.

'I will be at the Cannes Boat Show and I look forward to showcasing Riviera’s 5800 Sport Yacht and meeting our owners from around the Mediterranean.'

Riviera’s floating display will be located at Vieux Port QSP101.

Riviera offers 15 different models from 36 to 75 feet across three model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht and the new SUV collection.

In 2012 Riviera celebrated the launch of its 5000th boat, the 445 SUV, a significant achievement in the company’s rich 33-year history.

Riviera also offers the bespoke Belize Motoryachts. Inspired by classic luxury details and timeless style, Belize Motoryachts has recently released the new 54 foot Sedan and Daybridge models.
