VEEM Limited appoints new global sales manager

by AIMEX on 6 Aug 2013
Steven Vincent AIMEX
Australia’s leading marine propulsion manufacturer, VEEM Limited, have appointed Stephen Vincent as their Global Sales Manager.

Stephen will be responsible for driving the company’s worldwide sales growth objectives and further developing a sales strategy orientated towards the increasing importance of internet based sales and closer ties to OEM builders.

In his new position, Stephen will be consolidating the global dealer network while looking to appoint new dealers in specific areas perceived to be currently under serviced. The rollout of a specific sales strategy for the new VEEMGyro stabilisation system will also be a high priority.

Stephen has more than 20 years in-depth experience in the sizing and sale of inboard marine propellers. Prior to joining VEEM he worked for VEEM’s Australian, NZ and Pacific dealer, Austral Propellers. Based in Sydney, he will continue providing industry support as a Director and Honorary Treasurer of AIMEX (the Australian International Marine Export Group). He has a wealth of experience in international marine markets and in particular, the growing importance of the Asian boatbuilding sector and the potential sales growth in this region.

Stephen commented: 'I look forward to utilising my market knowledge and experience to drive the growth of VEEM globally. The VEEM brand is well known as a premium high performance propeller product with it’s patented Interceptor pitch alteration system.

'The new VEEMGyro system only continues the company’s evolution within the marine sector to bring highly innovative products to the market. I am confident my existing industry relationships will have a positive impact on VEEM’s future expansion plans.'

Based in Perth, Australia, VEEM Limited designs and manufactures a specialist range of fully CNC machined propellers, complete underwater gear packages and a variety of other marine related products, including the patented VEEMGyro stabilisation system.
