Lancer Industries Ltd has extended their product range to include bespoke marina fendering systems. The product is available in both air and foamfenders to offer superior vessel protection.

Designed to cope with vessels that endure inclement weather or swell conditions in a home berth. Fenders are available in standard or custom dimensions and can be user installed.

Lancer’s Sales and Marketing Manager Jamie Lowe said 'So often we see damage to beautiful boats as a result of entering, leaving or un-attended mooring in a home berth. All of that boils down to inadequate fendering solutions. We have looked into that scenario in detail and believe we have created the best system available'

Lancer’s Hypalon and foam fender technology is well represented around the globe. They are fitted to commercial vessels and super yachts locally and overseas. Several of our RIB systems use the foam core concept to meet high specification build requirements.

The latest custom project extended an existing installation. Using in house design software, we mirrored the internal shape of the berth to provide ultimate protection for a moored or maneuvering vessel. The results have been spectacular.

A representative for the vessel said 'The first fender we installed proved to be such a success that we went back to Lancer and asked them to extend the concept around the transom. Having experienced several winters in an exposed berth, at last we know the boat is safe. She is a heavy launch and over the years we have tried a number of products. Lancer’s dock fender is the first to stand up to the job.'

Lancer Industries Ltd. based in Auckland, New Zealand specialise in Hypalon products and design. With 4 decades of experience building RIBs their capacity for product development is extensive.
