Ceremonia de apertura del Mundial de 420

Mañana martes 23 de julio a las 19:30 en la planta baja del edificio Veles e Vents (Marina Real Juan Carlos I) tendrá lugar la ceremonia de apertura del Campeonato del Mundo absoluto y femenino de la clase 420.

El acto contará con la presencia del presidente del Real Club Náutico de Valencia, Manuel Pons; el presidente de la Real Federación Española de Vela, José Ángel Rodríguez Santos; el presidente de la clase internacional 420, Nino Shmueli; el concejal delegado de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Valencia, Cristóbal Grau y el director general del Deporte, Mateo Castellà.

También estarán presentes los 186 equipos participantes en el Mundial, que protagonizarán un desfile de abanderados de los 26 países representados en el campeonato.

Posteriormente, los actuales campeones de España de la clase 420 en las categorías absoluta y femenina, Luis Bugallo y Pedro Martínez, y Silvia Mas y Nuria Miró recibirán las banderas de España y de la clase 420 que serán izadas durante la ceremonia, dando inicio al campeonato.

El acto estará amenizado con actuaciones típicamente españolas y valencianas como correfocs, tabalet i dolçaina, flamenco y fuegos artificiales.

El Real Club Náutico de Valencia acoge del 22 al 30 de julio de 2013 el Campeonato de Mundo de la clase 420 en las categorías absoluta y femenina. La regata está organizada por el RCN Valencia junto con la Clase Internacional 420, la Clase 420 España, la Real Federación Española de Vela y la Federación de Vela de la Comunidad Valenciana y cuenta con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Valencia y la Generalitat Valenciana a través de la Dirección General del Deporte y con la presidencia de honor de S.A.R. la Princesa de Asturias.
