by Event Media on 22 Jul 2013
’Yacht Babe’ at China (Xiamen) International Boat Show China (Xiamen) International Boat Show
The China (Xiamen) International Boat Show 2013 will he held at the Xiamen Marina, China, between 8 and 11 November this year.

There will be three separate venues at the show. The indoor exhibition will be held in Blocks 4, 5 and 6 at the Xiamen Marina, with a display area of some 5,000 square metres, showing off technical equipment and housing the Yacht Club.

An outdoor area, covering about 20,000 square metres on the Coastal Square of the marina, will showcase yachts, sailing boats, components and service providers.

Finally, the on-water display will be in the 30,000-square-foot marina with its nearly 300 berths, for display of motor and sailing yachts, test drives and showcasing of components and equipment.

Boats being displayed in the marina itself must not exceed 18 metres in height or 130 feet in overall length. The 236 berths in the Phase II of the Xiamen Marina will be completed just prior to the show bringing the total capacity to the promised 300 and making this the largest show in China. [Somehow, they are all 'the largest show in China', but this one has a better claim than most. Ed]

There will be a very varied line up of vessels from luxury yachts to small pleasure boats exhibited along with all the accompanying equipment, components, and services. Water sport toys of all shapes and sizes will be on show and there will also be experts showing off their special finance and insurance deals. A special zone has been set aside for high-end luxury lifestyle brands, which also includes cars and helicopters. There is bonded warehousing for professional equipment.
Every need and taste has been catered for and this should, indeed, be a memorable event.
